Buy the land. Leave it alone. Forever.
Brunswick County is changing fast.
Farms, woods, wetlands, and open land are being cleared and paved over at a pace most people never agreed to.
The CFBB Preservation Fund exists for one simple purpose:
To buy land and make sure it is never developed.
No subdivisions.
No rezoning.
No sewer extensions.
No future phases.
We buy land, and we leave it alone.
Why this matters
Undeveloped land protects all of us.
It soaks up floodwater instead of pushing it into nearby neighborhoods.
It keeps creeks, rivers, and wells cleaner.
It provides space, quiet, and wildlife habitat.
It helps keep Brunswick County from turning into the places many of us left.
Once land is developed, it’s gone forever.
This fund exists to make sure some land never is. 100% of it stays in Brunswick County. This natives' nonprofit is based solely and for the benefit of brunswick county as whole. 
How the Preservation Fund works
Donations are used to buy important properties like farmland, wetlands, woods, and flood-prone land
Land is owned by CFBB or permanently restricted from development
The land is never sold for development
Protection lasts forever
Every acre protected is one less acre that can be clear-cut, paved, or crowded.
This is not about stopping landowners
If someone wants to sell their land, that’s their right.
The county often says there’s nothing they can do about it.
So we became the buyer.
