Who we are:

Central Florida Rowing is THE Rowing Club at UCF. We are the longest standing sports club at the school, going all the way back to 1972. Today, we are a Men's and Women's club team allowing all students at the school to experience rowing and be part of a great team. We hold strong values in our roots and believe in always working hard, and being as fast as possible while still allowing the sport to be fun and accessible to all.

What your support means to us:

To start, every dollar you donate is an INCREDIBLY big help to the team. Donations as simple as $5 help us to buy replacement boat hardware, or even bring us closer to purchasing a new boat. As we are a club team, our funding from the school is very limited, and the majority of the costs of racing, practicing out of a Division 1 Facility, having great coaches, and growing our fleet of boats comes directly from our semester dues paid by the athletes combined with fundraising we do throughout the year.

Last year, all thanks to YOUR support in our 1st ever Ergathon, CFR was able to purchase a 2018 Vespoli 8+, allowing for more members of the team to practice and race in some of the top equipment available. As time continues however, the rest of the boats we have only age faster. Our oldest boat that we race in is from the early 2000's. With your incredible support, we have a goal of purchasing a "used" Wing Rigger boat to add to our boat fleet. This style of boat not only allows our athletes to compete with more confidence as it is the newer style of rigging, but it is also proven to make for a faster moving rowing boat.

We are always grateful for the immense amount of support from our family members, friends, and club alumni.

$5 - $30: One power stroke per dollar * power strokes : Increasing power with a controlled "stroke rate"*

$40: Spin the Water Balloon/Pie in the face wheel

$50: 1 Minute at 2K Pace

$100: ALL OUT 250 Meters

$200: ALL OUT 500 Meters
