We need your help to keep a vital part of our community alive! Our Long Branch Neighborhood Gardening Program is currently facing an urgent funding gap, and your support can make all the difference in continuing our meaningful work.

Since 2021, our gardening program has been a source of joy, connection, and food access for neighbors of all backgrounds. Whether experienced gardeners or new to planting, community members come together up to three times a week to grow fresh vegetables, fruit, and culinary and medicinal herbs representative of Long Branch’s rich diversity, cook together, share stories from their homelands, and build friendships across cultures, generations, and socioeconomic divides. It’s a space where memories are cultivated alongside crops and where learning, healing, and community thrive. This program truly brings us joy, and it is recognized by community members and county leaders alike. Perhaps you have even seen us at Crossroads Farmers Market, sharing seedlings and tips on planting or culinary and medicinal uses of plants.

This program has become a treasured community asset providing access to nutritious food and a safe, welcoming environment for those who need it most, especially during these challenging times. The impact goes beyond the garden. It fosters hope, resilience, and community bonds that uplift us all.
