Mission of PRIME

To empower Family Medicine Residents with the tools and training to confidently diagnose and manage migraine—improving patient outcomes statewide.

Family doctors are the first—and often only—point of care for people with headache disorders.
Each trained provider will treat hundreds to thousands of migraine patients over their career.
PRIME directly addresses 'headache deserts' in North Carolina where specialist care is inaccessible.
