2023 Awardees

Here's a peek into what we've been doing this year:

Organized six advocacy days at the Capitol, including for Earth Day (photo below), and for two coalitions for which we provide leadership, the JustGreen Partnership and Lead Free Kids NY. The coalitions won 2-house passage of:
- the Birds and Bees Protection Act,
- improved action on lead in housing in 24 hardest-hit communities, and
- the Lead Pipes Right to Know Act.
With Capital Area Urban League, under funding from the US Environmental Protection Agency, engaged the Albany community about creating Clean Air and a Healthy Future for the city and its residents.
