CIDNA general support

🌿 Support the Cedar-Isles-Dean Neighborhood Association (CIDNA)!

Nestled between Cedar Lake, Lake of the Isles, and Bde Maka Ska, our neighborhood thrives because of people like you. The Cedar-Isles-Dean Neighborhood Association (CIDNA) brings together 3,750 residents and local businesses to build community, protect our natural spaces, and celebrate what makes this corner of Minneapolis so special.

Whether you rent, own a home/condo, or run a business here — your voice matters as a member of CIDNA. Together, we:

  • Advocate for our neighborhood on major projects like SWLRT construction, Dean Pkwy flooding and more.

  • Beautify our parks, trails, beaches, and gardens in partnership with the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board.

  • Host free community events like the May Day Basket Making & Delivery, Summer Solstice Celebration, Ice Cream Social, Fall Festival and more.

  • Engage neighbors through clean-ups, environmental education, public safety forums and collaborative events with nearby neighborhoods.

  • Support local businesses and initiatives like the Uptown Farmers Market and the North High School Foundation.

Your support keeps these efforts thriving. City funding has been cut, and CIDNA is using reserve funds to make up the difference. Every contribution — large or small — helps us create connections, celebrate community, and make Cedar-Isles-Dean an even better place to live.

As a 501(c)(3) organization (Tax ID 41-1803449), your donation can go even further if your employer offers a matching gift program, often doubling the impact of your donation or more!
