Help Rhode Island Atheists table at this upcoming event!

We need your help! We're trying to table at an important event in September to talk about our big bill, but the cost is too much for us. Can you chip in a few bucks this week to help us reach our goal of 250.00? This is one of the many actions we will be taking as an organization in the coming year to advance our secular recovery bill in Rhode Island. But we can't do it without member support. We're splitting the cost with American Atheists, but even then, we still don't have the funds. 

About our legislative endeavor: We are working hard with American Atheists to draft an important bill in our state. The legislation, The Rhode Island Recovery Options Act, will ensure that those who are court mandated to substance abuse treatment are guaranteed secular treatment options. People in recovery deserve access to services and programs that are best tailored to their personal backgrounds/beliefs.

In order to advance our bill, we are seeking to attend the Rhode Island Rally 4 Recovery event in September. The rally is a Pride Celebration for those in Recovery, celebrating the strength and resilience of those battling addiction. We hope that participation in this event will advance our cause and our bill.
