My CJ story began in 2014 when I was asked to join the Financial Advisory Council.  Working with CJ staff and other volunteers on the FAC gave me the opportunity to learn more about CJ – its mission, charisms, and community.  My husband Randy and I decided to send our girls to CJ - Kelsey (Class of 2021) and Caitlyn (Class of 2023).  I was honored to be asked to join the Board of Trustees in 2017.

It has been such a blessing to be a part of the CJ community as both a parent and volunteer.  I have enjoyed attending CJ sport events, concerts, and other extra-curricular activities as both a parent and a CJ fan.

More importantly, I have met some fantastic people in our community through volunteer activities.  The best part is that I generally do these activities with one or both of my girls!

While I may not have attended CJ, I witness the commitment of the CJ community (faculty, staff, students, parents, alumni) who demonstrate the mission and tradition of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur and the Society of Mary.  As a leader for excellence in catholic education, I continually see the commitment to prepare our young men and women to become life-long learners, contributing members of society and people of compassion, integrity and service.  I am honored to be part of such a dedicated community which spans generations and distance but is always centered in these core beliefs by their actions.

I ask that you join me in supporting CJ not only on this Day of Giving but everyday so that current and future students can continue to grow in their faith, knowledge and commitment to others.
