From a Storage Unit to a Warehouse—Now, We Need Your Help to Keep Going

In February, after an intense January focusing on fire relief, a warehouse was generously donated to us, giving Community Loving our very first real home. No more packing supplies into a tiny storage unit or setting up in the park—we had walls, a roof, and space to dream bigger.

In just four months, we’ve:
🔥 Served thousands of people and hundreds of families with fire relief, mutual aid, and community support.
🔥 Turned an empty building into a hub of hope—where neighbors could find food, supplies, and solidarity at our free store.
🔥 Proved what’s possible when a community comes together.

But now, our time here is up. On May 24th, we have to move everything out.

The Good News? We Found a New Home!

Thanks to relentless hustle and a little luck, we secured another warehouse—one we can use until the end of the year. This space is even bigger and better, with:
✔ Office space to organize our efforts
✔ A kitchen to prepare meals for those in need
✔ Event space to host workshops and gatherings
✔ Warehouse space to keep our mutual aid flowing

But here’s the hard part: We’re a grassroots group that runs on community love, not big grants or corporate cash. To make this move and keep our programs alive, we need your help.

Our Goal is to Raise ✨$15K✨ by the End of June to Cover:

🚛 Moving Costs – Trucks, supplies, and labor to get us to the new space by May 24th.
💡 Monthly Utilities – $1,200/month to keep the lights on and the doors open.
🪑 Furnishings & Equipment – Shelves, tables, chairs—everything to make the space functional.
📦 Supplies & Programs – Stocking our pantry, restocking hygiene kits, and funding our vital work.
