The Story

Rooted.

For nearly 6 years, we have had the privilege of being rooted in the South Bay. This hasn’t just been our home base; it has been our inspiration. The majority of our donations come from local residents. Neighbors showing up for neighbors. People who believe that when we take care of each other, we all rise.

Because of this community, we have shown that mutual care is not just possible—it is powerful. This is what we have built together and it is worth celebrating!

Rising.

But right now, rent, groceries, gas—the things we need to survive—are getting harder and harder to obtain. Across the country, the economy grows weaker and here in the South Bay, the needs of our community are growing faster than ever. We are averaging 250+ people at our events, and that number is growing every month. That is why our free stores and event matter more than ever. This is not charity–it's a survival program rooted in collective care.

The Goal

Looking at 2026, we have 7 free stores (April through November) and 2 annual events (July and December) on the calendar. These are the moments where we gather, share resources, and remind each other that we are not alone. Our foundation is strong, but to continue meeting the needs of our community—and to make this sustainable—we need your help. We are launching this fundraising campaign (March 25 – April 4) to secure the funds that will carry us through the rest of 2026.

Your donation directly supports:

7 monthly free stores (April–November)
2 annual events (July + December)
Monthly supplies and event expenses (U-Haul trucks, permits, vendors, etc)

Stretch Goal: If we reach $5,000 early, every additional dollar means we can expand our free store capacity and make our events even bigger—showing up with more resources, more joy, and more impact.
