Since the inception of the Columbus Mississippi Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. in 1983, the brothers have labored to promote the well-being of the community, as well as, the fundamental purpose of the Fraternity - Achievement. Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. has a proven track record that has a global impact on events that affect our local communities as well as places around the globe.

The Annual Black & White Scholarship Ball is the primary scholarship fundraising event! Your generous donation will provide scholarships to deserving high school students, increasing the likelihood of them graduating fully prepared to lead. During the past several years, the Columbus Mississippi Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. has awarded over $30,000.00 in scholarships to graduating high school seniors in the Golden Triangle area.

Scholarships are merit-based and awarded to qualified high school students with a consideration of financial need. All recipients shall be in pursuit of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and as described by the respective scholarship criteria. Most scholarships are for one year and are non-renewable unless otherwise indicated in the award description.
