This year, as we prepare for our annual Walk-A-Thon on June 3rd, we’re inviting our entire community—students, families, neighbors, and local businesses—to come together in support of our mission. Our theme, “Every Step Supports a Student,” reflects the heart behind this event: every lap walked, every dollar donated, every cheer of encouragement goes directly toward creating a thriving, joy-filled place where children can learn and grow.

When our students walk on June 3rd, they’re not just walking for fun—they’re walking to help bridge the gap between tuition and the true cost of a Charlotte Mason education. Like most independent schools, tuition alone doesn’t cover all that it takes to provide a rich, nurturing learning experience rooted in faith, beauty, and wonder.

They’re walking so we can continue offering small class sizes, dedicated teachers, nature-based learning, the arts, and a community where each child is known and loved. They’re walking to keep CMCS accessible to families from all walks of life.

In short, they’re walking for all the things that make this school so special—and for the future we’re building together.

And they’re not walking alone. With each step, they carry the support of grandparents who give generously, neighbors who show up with signs, teachers who champion their dreams, and businesses and churches who believe in the power of community.
