Story The La Familia/Chandler Magnet School community is a volunteer non-profit organization made up of parents, teachers, staff, and administrators. We are proud of the diverse, multicultural, and multilingual students, staff, educators, and families that make up our school community. The purpose of our organization is to build a community of multilingual families, promote school spirit and pride, facilitate volunteer opportunities, host fun events for students and families, and fundraise to support our students, community and school. Each year we financially support community events, school enrichment programs, teacher appreciation, the school library, the Pre-K and Kindergarten field trip, and spree day (to name a few!) Our School We are a city-wide pre-k through 6th grade elementary school and our students come from every corner of Worcester. We are also a mulitilingual school, with the only transitional bilingual education and two-way dual language programs in the district (in English/Spanish). Our school has about 550 students and is 65% low income, 80% high needs, and 49% English language learner. Thank you for buying a calendar raffle ticket to support our school and good luck!
