Story

Central Michigan University's Greek Week 2020 is here! Greek Week is a week-long philanthropy event. The social fraternities and sororities come together as a community for two deserving organizations. Teams are formed to work together and compete to gain points through various daily activities. These activities include an all Greek photo, service day, keynote speaker presentation, dodgeball competition, donations and dance competition.

These efforts are all to raise money and awareness of two non-profit organizations which are voted on every year. This year the Greek Community will be supporting two organizations: The Coalition of Kindness and the Humane Animal Treatment Society (HATS). The Coalition of Kindness is compromised of four organizations: Community Compassion Network Food Pantry, Clothing INC, Ten16 Recovery Network Prevention Services and The Care Store. The Strickler Center's goal is to reduce poverty in Isabella County over time. HATS is a non-profit welfare organization that provides food, vaccinations, veterinary care, and a clean, safe environment while animals await placement in their forever homes.
