I'm a medical Mama to the most wonderful 8 year old boy with cystic fibrosis and his two older brothers without CF. CF is a life limiting progressive genetic disease with no cure. As a caregiver to a child with a chronic disease it can be really challenging to find to to take a break for myself. The Apricity Hope Project brings support, caregiver packages and retreats to Mamas and Dadas to remind them that they are not alone in their caregiving journey. I was fortunate to attend a retreat at the Hideaway in Norfolk, VA, in September of 2023 to help me recharge my batteries and help me remember all the special things about me. I am forever bonded to the Mamas I attended the retreat with and grateful to Susan and the volunteers of AHP <3
