It all started at a Family Fun event -- just like this one. 

When I first volunteered with Imagine LA, I thought I'd spend a morning doing some good & get on with my day. What I couldn't have expected was to hear my name called from across the room. Who could I possibly know here? To my surprise it was a mom calling to her two daughters... two daughters that had my first and middle names. In that moment it became more than just a morning handing out care packages to formerly unhoused families. I kept volunteering, eventually joined the Emerging Leaders Advisory Board, and am now official Imagine LA staff (managing the very events I used to volunteer for)!

Imagine LA's Family Fun events aren't just opportunities to volunteer; they're spaces where families can create memories rooted in dignity and joy. Together, let's fund some fun!
