Our Capital High School football program is having our Annual Lift Off on Saturday August 23rd.

Our players have spent countless hours both as a team and individually to build up their strength and conditioning for the 2025 year.

As a team, the commitment and support from each other has been incredible.

We are hoping that the hard work and effort can generate funds that will help us with our upcoming season and beyond expenses.

These expenses include:

New jerseys this year, new helmets year after year (we usually lose about 20 each year to age outs), New Shoulder pads each year, daily practice equipment that is becoming outdated, and other safety items.

This is not your typical fundraiser. Every player will be doing "max" lifts in the weight room and will come with a total of weigh lifted over 3 lifts. They have each set goals for each lift.

As a team we have set a goal of 40,000 pounds lifted on the day. This is on average about 500 pounds per player. We do have some that will hopefully be in the 1000+ range which is an awesome feat of strength and explosiveness.

Our fundraising goal is to match our weight moved goal of $40,000

Each player will be represented at this lift off and within our team. Please if you can support our players we would greatly appreciated it.
