CPCS Alliance & Annual Pledge

ur interest in becoming members of the Chesapeake Charter School Alliance and showing support by committing to the Annual Pledge.  Please read the below information to learn more.

The Chesapeake Charter School Alliance (CCSA) is the non-profit organization and governing board that oversees the charter agreement with St. Mary’s County Public Schools. The Alliance is responsible for facilitating all fundraising activities, and any money raised by the Alliance benefits ALL of CPCS.

Membership in the Alliance shows our community that you are committed to the success of our school. Dues are $16 for the 2024/2025 school year. Your dues help to cover the costs of fundraising efforts and enables us to continue to improve the educational opportunities for our children!  Members are entitled to vote on matters brought to the general membership by the CCSA Governing Board.  Money collected from Alliance dues counts towards our fundraising goal and helps to provide funds for holding our fundraising activities each year.

Committing to the Annual Pledge:

Take part in the annual pledge drive and make a direct donation to the school! As a school of choice, we want to show our community how proud we are of what we’ve built and put our support behind it. To help reach our fundraising goal of $100,000, we ask that ALL families participate and make a financial pledge to CPCS. If all of our CPCS families were to pledge $500 each (just $50/month or $12/week over the course of the school year), we would EXCEED our fundraising goal! 

We understand this request may be a large undertaking for some families, so we are asking 100% participation from all of our families for ANY amount.  Whether you are able to contribute the full $500 or $1, we need you to help show the outstanding commitment our families have to our school!

Annual Pledge donations will be used to support our school in numerous ways, including the ownership, operation and maintenance of our facility, teacher development and appreciation, supplies for classrooms, Project Electives, supplementing field trips to reduce costs to families and many other activities that make CPCS a unique school of choice.

Pledge Levels:

• $500 or more

• $300-$499 

• $150-$299 

Your annual pledge can be completed as a one-time or recurring donation online or via check mailed directly to the school (Please make checks out to CCSA).

The Chesapeake Charter School Alliance is a non-profit with 501(c)(3) status with the IRS; all donations made to us are tax-deductible to you.
