The cats above are just a few whose lives changed this year after being rescued from the outdoors by Charles River Alleycats (CRA).

CRA is the only organization dedicated exclusively to helping community cats across Eastern Massachusetts. Since our founding in 2002, we’ve helped more than 20,000 cats through trap-neuter-return (TNR), rescue, and adoption.

Our volunteers work year-round to humanely trap, sterilize, vaccinate, and return feral cats to their outdoor homes—breaking the cycle of overpopulation and suffering. At the same time, we care for friendly strays who shouldn't need to survive outside, helping them regain trust and find safety indoors through our network of fosters and shelter partners.
