Right now, two senior dogs—Renée and Emily—need urgent care.

They arrived in heartbreaking condition after years of neglect—
covered in matting, debris, and fleas, with serious untreated medical issues.

But they are safe now—because CRF said yes.

Throughout this year, Cavalier Rescue of Florida has been in triage mode with one urgent medical case after another, severely draining our funds. We have multiple surrenders coming in each week, and our mission is to never turn away a Cavalier or Cavalier mix in need. CRF needs you.

This year has seen its share of ‘urgent medical cases’ for CRF surrenders. They all are requiring medical vetting and over 80% had some type of emergency / specialty medical need. It is not unusual for CRF to take in several breeder surrenders throughout the year, and they all come to Rescue in medical need--all at once.

We spend thousands of dollars on each pup and our adoption donations never come close to recovering the amount spent. Year over year we take in and place more and more pups. Each one will receive whatever they need in medical care so that they'll be able to live their happiest, healthiest, best possible life. Each one of our volunteers selflessly gives their time, resources, and love to the pups in our Rescue to help them in their journey.
