Hart's Hope
Beautiful Hart and his bonded sister, April were relinquished to CRF after their human became terminally ill and could no longer care for his beloved Cavaliers. Though the pups missed the life they once knew, they were fortunate to fall head over heels into the caring home of a devoted foster family — one that would soon become a foster turned forever.
When they arrived at CRF, both Hart and April had significant, untreated medical needs, including heart disease, dry eye, dental disease, and advanced arthritis. With attentive support, CRF provided the necessary medical care, while their doting foster family surrounded them with comfort, joy, and a deep sense of belonging.
Always enchanting, Hart quickly earned the nickname “Mr. Ladies Man,” effortlessly winning the heart of his foster mom. He adored curling up on her lap, gazing into her eyes with pure affection and trust. His foster family had welcomed many Cavaliers over the years, and — much like love at first sight — they knew instantly that Hart and April were home for good.
Though a senior boy, Hart was full of life, spirit, and playful mischief. His antics brought waves of laughter and warmth, and together these two pups lived their very best lives, cherished every step of the way. Hart was deeply adored, and when the time came, he was gently guided across the Rainbow Bridge — cradled in his mom’s lap, surrounded by peace and light.
In honor of beautiful Hart and the lasting paw prints he left on so many hearts, CRF has established the Hart’s Hope Fund to support Cavaliers in need of long-term, foster-to-forever care. Please consider making a donation in Hart’s memory to help provide comfort, dignity, and happiness to our precious Cavaliers in their golden years as they thrive in their forever foster homes ❤️
