SkillsUSA STATE LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE FUNDRAISER

River has advanced TWO SkillsUSA teams to the state competition for Video News Production! We are fundraising to help offset the costs of the two-day event.

Our SkillsUSA teams are made up of students from River's Advanced Video Production classes. This program, part of the school's Career and Technical Education Curriculum, has a history of excellence with award winning news programming. That success has translated directly to our SkillsUSA teams over the years. Last year's team brought home the gold in the Video News Production contest and advanced to the national competition in Atlanta.

The eight students on this year's teams will travel to Tacoma, WA in March to represent River and the Southwest Washington SkillsUSA region. This talented group of students has been creating excellent programming all year! We hope you will consider supporting them in their continued success.
