Each year, hundreds of individuals and families impacted by cancer turn to us for connection, hope, and healing. To keep our programs free and available to all who need them, we’ve set a 2025 fundraising goal of $146,000.

Your support helps individuals like Tiffany, who found strength and guidance through our programs after her diagnosis. Because of generous donors like you, Tiffany didn’t have to navigate cancer alone—she found a community that understood, resources that empowered her, and support that made all the difference.

This funding ensures a full year of professionally led support groups, educational workshops, healthy lifestyle classes, and meaningful connections—all provided at no cost.

About Cancer Support Community Iowa & NW Illinois at Gilda's Club: 

Cancer Support Community, along with our Gilda’s Club partners, uplifts and strengthens people impacted by cancer by providing support, fostering compassionate communities, and breaking down barriers to care.

Our vision is to ensure that everyone impacted by cancer receives the support they want and need throughout their experience. This means not just the person with the diagnosis but their friends and family as well. Programs are centered around creating a community through support groups, educational workshops, healthy lifestyle activities, social gatherings, and providing resources/referrals. All programs and services are offered for free to those who participate.
