Meals that Matter

Story

Angerer Eats, a local provider of healthy, home-cooked meals, has partnered with Cancer Support Community at Gilda’s Club to extend a helping hand to cancer patients and their loved ones by providing free, nourishing meals. Steph’s Tribe has recently joined as a partner in this initiative, generously contributing critical funds to help individuals navigating the challenges of a cancer diagnosis.

This collaboration addresses a growing need identified by Cancer Support Community at Gilda’s Club: food insecurity among those impacted by cancer. Many individuals and families facing a diagnosis struggle to access nutritious meals, especially during treatment and recovery.

Since launching this program, the response has been overwhelming in the best way. In just the first few months of this year, we’ve already distributed 591 meals—more than half of last year’s 1,100 total, which were provided over the span of 10 months. This kind of growth speaks volumes about how deeply needed this resource is—and why your help is so important.

Every dollar donated goes directly toward providing a healthy meal and a moment of care to someone going through cancer. Your support helps nourish both body and spirit.

Kelsey Allen, Program Director states, “To be able to stop by our Clubhouse and pick out a family-style meal on a day you are feeling crummy from treatment, caregiving, etc., has been a relief to so many. ”

We are so grateful for the generosity of Steph’s Tribe and the ongoing partnership with Angerer Eats. Their commitment, combined with the support of our donors, ensures that no one has to face cancer hungry or alone.
