CUNY Tech Prep (CTP) is raising funds for our eleventh year of programming and onwards!

The first ever CUNY Tech Prep class was on October 20, 2015. As of October 20, 2025, we will have served upwards of 1,400 students from the City University of New York, proudly hailing from the 5 boroughs of New York.

Your donation will ensure CTP can keep the lights on for our 2025-2026 school year and beyond - providing technical classes, career coaching, and industry mentorship to our fellows.

According to Center for an Urban Future, only 50 percent of all CUNY computer science graduates from 2017 to 2021 were employed within their field of study one year after graduation. In the same period, over 70 percent of CUNY Tech Prep graduates were employed within 6 months of program completion. We are helping CUNY students land more jobs, more quickly!

CTP is a year-long technical and professional training program for City University of New York (CUNY) Computer Science and related majors to learn in-demand technologies, master professional soft skills, and land great tech jobs in New York City. Our work centers individual growth while cultivating an early career tech community who give back to their city and fellow New Yorkers.

We are supported by the NYC Tech Talent Pipeline, an industry partnership designed to support the growth of the City's tech sector and deliver quality jobs for New Yorkers and quality talent to New York's businesses.
