Camp Dermadillo is a family camping adventure at Camp For All in Burton, TX, that is held each Spring. This is an enriching weekend experience for not only the child who is living with a skin condition or birthmark, but also their parents, caregivers, and siblings who are also impacted. The weekend will include camp activities in a barrier-free environment such as tackling the ropes course, riding the zipline, captaining a canoe, or taking a guided horseback ride, which are not just fun exercises, but will instill a can-do attitude that will empower these children to face the world with confidence. Another important aspect of this experience is the opportunity for these children and their parents to meet others who have a similar lived experience, and this results in priceless friendships that will last long after this 4-day event.

Each child who attends will receive a free keepsake copy of our Masterpiece Coloring Book and Journal, "Camp Dermadillo: Learning to Love the Skin You Are In" that was made possible by a generous grant from the Texas Dermatological Society. Our 2026 Camp weekend is extra special because we have some friends who will be joining us, including our HTX Masterpiece Collective artists, Lee Beckmann of Beckmann Media, and Rick Guidotti of Positive Exposure in NYC. They will be helping our campers make something beautiful by empowering them to share their stories while also producing a community piece of artwork that will be a part of our "Look At Me. What Do You See. - This Is Me. Let Me Help You See!" multimedia, interactive, traveling exhibition.
