Thanks to everyone who attended DT Social 2! We raised just over $1000 towards our new coverage of Yucca Valley Town Council, the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors and our Twentynine Palms City Council Candidate Forum!

The Desert Trumpet produces the ONLY in person candidate forum for Twentynine Palms City Council Candidates. The City of Twentynine Palms helps to underwrite our Candidate Forum Costs by donating use of the Community Center at Freedom Plaza, but we still need to cover equipment rentals, plus a sound engineer, insurance, graphic design and other labor costs totaling $1500 - $2000.

We've set an additional goal of $1000 to help us cover these costs. Thanks in advance for your help!

The Desert Trumpet is a nonprofit publication that seeks to increase political engagement and encourage a participatory political process by reporting on city government.
