We Feed Us: A Thanksgiving Mutual Aid Project

No charity — just solidarity.

Every year, too many of our neighbors in South Louisiana face the holidays without enough to eat. This season, we’re coming together to change that.

We Feed Us is a Thanksgiving mutual aid initiative led by Below Sea Level Aid. Together, we’re providing free turkeys, sides, and grocery bundles to anyone in our community who needs a meal this holiday season — no questions asked. Because we believe that food is a human right, and that we keep each other fed, safe, and cared for.

Your contribution helps us cover:
🍗 Turkeys and plant-based main options
🥔 Traditional sides and grocery staples
🥫 Non-perishable items for unhoused neighbors
🚗 Delivery and distribution supplies to reach folks without transportation

This work is community-funded and community-run, organized by and for the people most impacted by food insecurity, poverty, and displacement. Every dollar you give goes directly toward putting food on someone’s table.
