In memory of our dear friend and board member, Carrigan Nelson, we are establishing the Strong Little Scholarship. This scholarship will support families affected by pediatric cancer by easing financial burdens and eliminating barriers that prevent patients from achieving their hopes and dreams. Carrigan bravely fought osteosarcoma for seven years, and even on her hardest days, she was always focused on giving back and supporting teens and young adults battling cancer.

 In early 2025, Carrigan set a goal to send 25 care packages to teens and young adults facing cancer by year’s end. Carrigan passed away on December 25, 2025, knowing she had doubled that goal by sending 50 care packages—and that her mission would continue through the love and support of her family and friends.
