Driven by Love: Bridging the Gap to Enrollment

Ahavah Rising Stars Foundation, Inc., was established with love (Ahavah, meaning love in Hebrew) for the international community. Our mission is to advance educational equity and advocate for immigration justice by ensuring that international students have the opportunity to pursue higher education in the United States. We champion equality, eliminate barriers to enrollment, and empower students to excel academically and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

This organization is seeking funding to address financial barriers that prevent highly qualified international students from enrolling in colleges in Los Angeles and Orange County.

National studies reveal that numerous international students accepted to U.S. universities, even those with full tuition support, fail to enroll due to the inability to afford non-tuition expenses such as visas, flights, housing, and required deposits. • Including visa support services and application guidance for F-1 student visa processing.

   

• Global Access Preparation offers specialized coaching for visa appointments at U.S. embassies or consulates.

   

• The Bridge to Belonging Kit provides laptops, backpacks, and bedding to equip students for a smooth transition into their academic and social environments.

• The Bridge to Belonging provides ongoing monthly mentorship to ensure each student has a successful academic year!
