April is Global Volunteer Month, and we are thrilled to recognize all of the amazing volunteers who have contributed to What Makes You Feel Beautiful (WMYFB) and supported our mission. We invite you to join us in celebrating our volunteers and, in particular, our Volunteer of the Year, Megan Philibin, on April 13th at 1pm at the Flatbread Company.

Megan has been an exceptional volunteer and an integral part of the WMYFB team. Her dedication, passion, and years of commitment have made a significant impact on our organization's mission to empower girls and young women to cultivate self-love. Megan has served as our lead event spokesperson, a trained mentor, social media helper, outreach coordinating, and assist Monica Marrow the executive director. Her contributions to the organization have been invaluable, and her legacy will continue to inspire future generations of young women to believe in themselves and their abilities.

At WMYFB, we just launched a new program and initiatives aimed at empowering girls ages 13-17, and Megan has played a crucial role in developing and implementing these initiatives. For example, she helped to launch the F.L.Y youth program, which visited Baldwin High School and assisted in teaching two classes on how to deal with self-critical thoughts. This program provides young women with role models and guidance as they navigate their own paths to success and personal growth.

We would also like to take this opportunity to invite you to donate to WMYFB's outreach and volunteers program. We need easy pop-up tents, chairs, fact sheets, posters, brochures, books, pens, branded materials, and a gift for Megan. Your donation will help us continue to empower and support our volunteers and the community we serve.
