Greetings in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

It brings us great joy to share that Mission Catalyst International has recently celebrated the dedication of our 76th church building for the glory of God. This church is located in a remote village nestled deep within a jungle and mountainous region that is extremely difficult to access. Simply reaching the community is a challenge—and witnessing what God has done there fills our team with awe.

We reflect with gratitude on early mission workers who first visited this area in the late 1980s, faithfully sharing the Gospel even when there appeared to be little visible fruit. God, however, was quietly preparing the ground. Several years later, His miraculous work became evident when a villager—whom we will call Arun—fell seriously ill. By God’s grace, he remembered hearing that Jesus heals and sent word to a local pastor—Pastor Samuel—asking for prayer. When Pastor Samuel visited and prayed, God miraculously healed him. That moment ignited a powerful movement of the Holy Spirit within the village.

Following his healing, Arun began sharing the Gospel, often facing strong resistance from neighbors who practiced traditional spiritual beliefs and were hesitant to embrace something new. Later, God clearly spoke to another faithful servant—Pastor Daniel—who was ministering in a village many miles away, calling him to come and labor alongside Arun. His obedience marked a turning point. Over the next several years, many in the village came to know the Lord.

The village itself carries a name rooted in sorrow, tied to a tragic event from generations past. Yet in His redeeming grace, God has transformed this place of loss into a place of life. Today, the story of God’s own Son—His death and resurrection—is proclaimed there, bringing hope, joy, and new life. One believer shared that the message of Christ’s resurrection gave the people a renewed sense of purpose and courage.

For many years, the congregation worshiped in a small mud structure. As the church grew, the space could no longer accommodate those gathering to worship.

The generosity of the believers deeply moved our team. While $5,000 was provided through a special church construction initiative, it was not enough to complete a structure large enough for the growing congregation. The villagers sacrificially contributed the remaining $5,000. Those unable to give financially offered their labor—working with their own hands to complete the building.

We also honored a faithful believer—Brother Joseph—who donated a portion of his land along the roadway so that this house of prayer could be built.

During the dedication service, the congregation even received an offering to support church construction in another needy village. With great joy, they collected $80 and offered it back to God for His work. We are inviting our beloved partners to prayerfully consider matching this gift with an $80 donation, as it will directly support continued Gospel work in nearby communities. What a difference God-led generosity makes.
