Kenyan-American Naomi Wachira grew up singing gospel music in a choir of family and friends. Inspired by the music of Tracy Chapman and Miriam Makeba, she wanted to follow suit, making the world a better place by writing music that is poignant and life-giving. She has received numerous accolades, including “Best Folk Artist” by Seattle Weekly.

Inspired by the 2021 song recorded by Naomi Wachira, "You Are Not Alone" felt incredibly fitting for CfC:

• In our role as Owner Reps on job sites, CfC wants owners, building funders, people using the buildings all to not feel alone. To feel like they have a representative on their side looking out for them and making the building the best it can be.
• We are coming together as a CfC community for the first time in a long time — a healthy reminder that we are a community and none of us are alone.
