Spring Into Action

It's time to spring into action! We are challenging our clients, adopters, and community to make a contribution to HALO! Since January, we have taken in 30 shelter dogs and enrolled 5 dogs into our Rehome My Dog program as a part of our community outreach and support efforts. The need for our services far outweighs our capacity both with physical space and financially. Despite these challenges, we have still stepped up to help those in need any way we can. Like many non-profits, the first part of the year is very dry with donations and income. Our budget is spread thin while we balance helping those in need, the shelter dogs in our care, and maintaining our overhead costs. We are asking you, a HALO advocate, whether you are a client, adopter, or friend of our organization for help. We challenge you to make a one time gift to HALO in support of our efforts. 

Your donation will not only support dogs to receive the training they need as they prepare for their forever home, but families in our community who feel their only option is to surrender their dog to a shelter. Your dollars go a long way to help us keep dogs and their families together so they do not have to step foot in a shelter.  On average, shelter dogs spend about 18-24 months at HALO working through training and behavior modification while we work to find them the perfect family. Your gift will help us further the impact we are able to have with the dogs at HALO and the dogs in need in our community!
