The Mobility Independence Foundation is purchasing a wheelchair accessible vehicle so that our President & Founder will always have reliable transportation to visit conferences, public events, speaking engagements, and visits with our partners and supporters on behalf of the Mobility Independence Foundation and for all other official travel.

Thomas’s health and accessibility needs make it so that air travel is not possible for him. To travel by bus or rail would carry significant health risks as well, and if the carrier is unable to provide the proper accommodations for Thomas, his powerchair, and other mobility equipment that must travel with him, it would be catastrophic to have Thomas stranded in a railroad station unable to get to his destination or to return home.

Thomas is the best spokesperson that we have and we need him to appear in person to tell his story and share his vision with as many people as possible. Everyone that hears Thomas speak becomes urgently and enthusiastically supportive of our cause. The ability to get him in front of large audiences as well as the decision makers for major funding opportunities is imperative for the future flourishing of our organization.

We are asking our supporters to help us get Thomas on the road by helping the Mobility Independence Foundation purchase a van, to hire a driver, and wrap the van with our brand and logo.
