Girls need your help to participate in Girls On The Run St. Louis. The program is incredible. Girls join volunteer-led teams to learn critical social and emotional skills. The girls celebrate diversity. Girls see the power of their own dreams and how to support and value other girls' dreams. They learn to stick up for themselves. They understand how important it is to stick up for others and learn empathy, gratitude, patience and determination. There is nothing else that matches the reach, impact and research proven results of Girls On The Run St. Louis.

About 10 years ago I realized how incredible Girls On The Run is. I made FOX Sports Midwest a supporter and I became a volunteer and donor. The Girls On The Run philosophy and what it teaches girls is exactly what I want for myself. It's the person I want to be. And so, literally every day for the past ten years I look for opportunities to strengthen the program. In 2016 I started asking people to challenge themselves, team up with me, and raise donations for girls who need help with the program fee. We've done multi-day bike rides, races and a 2020 multi-day summit push in Colorado. In 2021, we launched the 14er Challenge and 40 people raised donations by challenging themselves to summit Colorado's highest peaks.

Girls On The Run shows girls the healthy joy and strong spirit that comes from personal challenges and supporting others. FYI, it is the same for adults.

My goal for 2022 is $5,500. This year I will be 55 years old. I am going after athletic challenges that have been dreams of mine for many years. I am thrilled to be a 2022 Champion for Girls On The Run St. Louis. With your donations any girl will be a Girl On The Run! She will join a team, learn the GOTR skills and participate proudly with proper shoes and a sports bra. She will learn to dream big and be joyful, healthy, strong and kind.

My Inspiration

Girls on the Run is a physical activity-based positive youth development program (PA-PYD) designed to develop and enhance girls’ social, psychological and physical competencies to successfully navigate life experiences. The mission of Girls on the Run St. Louis is to empower girls for a lifetime of healthy living. Our program for girls in the 3rd through 8th grades inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.

100% of donations go to Girls on the Run!

Keep Climbing Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves children and U.S. Veterans by hosting fundraising mountain climbs for various charities year-round. Our mission is to help both our climbers and our beneficiaries reach their personal summits by supporting them as they overcome life’s obstacles.

This tradition started in 2015 when The Home Loan Expert took a team to Mt. Rainier for the inaugural Climb for the Kids. Now, Keep Climbing Foundation continues this mission to help inspire others to #KeepClimbing!
