As a burn survivor of 25 years, I know firsthand how impactful AARBF is - especially on a kid recovering from a burn injury. Attending Champ Camp for burn-injured children was instrumental in helping me heal and also allowed me to witness the struggles that other children endure. My experiences with AARBF shaped me into the person I am today, helped me realize that I wanted to become a nurse and that I want to volunteer for AARBF so that I may help others realize, too, that they are not alone.
