The Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation has been a part of our lives for over 23 years. From the beginning, when we were new to the burn community, there was always someone ready to answer questions and walk alongside us. Later, when my son began attending Champ Camp, it became even more personal—he found a second family, and so did we. Eventually, I had the privilege of becoming a counselor at Champ Camp, and everything came full circle. I not only got to share in the fun of camp with these amazing kids, but I also became part of their support system, just like others once were for us. That’s what this camp is all about. It’s not just a week of fun—it’s a place of healing, connection, and lifelong support.
