Change Makers (Internal)

As a valuable and philanthropic member of the communities we serve, we invite you to join us as a sponsor of our third annual Unity Change Makers Celebration!  The event will take place on April 4, 2025, at Sacramento State’s University Ballroom and is presented by the Nehemiah Emerging Leadership Program (NELP) and The Sacramento Bee's Equity Lab.  

 

This year, we are proud to honor 60 of Sacramento's top AAPI, Black, and Latino Change Makers.  These exceptional individuals were nominated by the community, carefully vetted by a committee of regional leaders representing the rich diversity of our region and featured in special editions of The Sacramento Bee.  Our honorees are leaders who have transformed communities through their dedication, innovation, altruism and unique style. They are innovative problem-solvers addressing critical issues in their respective fields, making a lasting impact on the Sacramento area.   

 

We invite you to join us in celebrating these extraordinary Change Makers and stand in support of the efforts of our diverse communities to contribute to the vibrancy of the Sacramento region, united in the belief that diversity makes us collectively stronger, richer, and resilient.  Funds raised will support the development of diverse leaders through NELP and support the team of community-funded journalists at The Bee’s Equity Lab, whose mission is to elevate stories of community and collective importance.
