Choral Art Society of the South Shore "Bright Morning Stars"

Help support your local community chorus! The Choral Art Society of the South Shore is in our 65th season. We rehearse in Scituate and have members from across every community in the South Shore from Scituate, to Cohasset, to Hingham, to Weymouth, to Hanover, to Kingston, and many more! We prepare two concert seasons each year. A holiday concert in December and a Spring concert. Our Spring 2025 concert, "Harmony for Hope and Resilience" will feature our SATB chorus combined with Cape Cod Chorale. The program features a large professional orchestra and two professional soloists. Our selected works explore themes of hope, resilience, and standing strong.

This campaign is to raise funds for the professional musicians performing with us and the venue for our concert. Funds will also go toward the William T. Adams Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship, created in honor of our founder, is awarded to a graduating senior from the South Shore who plans to pursue music as a major in college. The scholarship award is intended to help support a student who is applying for further study in any area of music concentration, including theory, composition, music management and merchandising, conducting, history, literature, performance, etc. We will present this scholarship at our Spring concert.
