In order to address serious facility needs in the Teays Valley Local School District, the board of education has voted to place a bond issue on the March 19th, 2024 ballot for the construction of two new 4th-6th grade buildings, convert the current elementary schools to PK-3rd grade, and the current middle school buildings to 7th-8th grade. Citizens for Teays Valley Schools PAC has been organized with a purpose to inform the voters about the need for updated schools and to rally the community and tax payers behind this effort.

In order for the campaign committee to do an effective job of promoting this bond issue, it will need approximately $15,000.  This money is needed to provide for the cost of postage, printing, yard signs, banners, brochures and other expenses. The district is not allowed, by law, to spend school funds for bond issues or tax levies. Therefore, the first challenge for the committee is to raise the necessary funds for the campaign.
