Through this targeted campaign we seek to raise funds needed to submit our application for Civil Surgeon status so we can provide this service for newly arriving refugees and immigrants who need I-693 medical evaluation for their immigration case submission. This cost will cover the fee USCIS charges the practice to process the Civil Surgeon Application.

About Worcester RISE for Health

Created by a group of individuals passionate about serving refugees and immigrants, Worcester RISE for Health is the product of many organizations coming together to re-envision care for new arrivals.

Newly arriving refugees often have language and cultural barriers, come from backgrounds of substantial trauma, and were outright denied adequate healthcare in their countries of origin because of their gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, poverty, and more.

All are coming from different health systems and struggle navigating healthcare in the US; they are often not familiar with appointment systems, refills, referrals, and might not have had access to preventive care, chronic disease management, or continuity of care
