The government shutdown means that SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits have stopped, and the loss of access to food will devastate our community. Right now, 60% of the seniors we serve at MontCo SAAC are facing the loss of critical food assistance—leaving many wondering where their next meal will come from.
