This summer, Northwestern’s Hong Kong Student Association (HKSA) is proud to partner with the Chinese American Service League (CASL) — a nonprofit organization serving Chicago’s AANHPI community for over 45 years.

CASL provides life-changing services across all stages of life — from early childhood education to senior wellness, from immigrant legal aid to workforce development, and more. Their programs empower families, uplift individuals, and strengthen communities with dignity and compassion.

As students rooted in cultural identity and driven by community, we are fundraising to help CASL continue delivering:

• Culturally appropriate meals to thousands of low-income seniors

• Job training and career support for immigrants and first-generation families

• Bilingual mental health counseling, housing assistance, and public benefits navigation

• Youth mentoring and college access programming for the next generation of leaders
