This year will mark the end of middle school and the students will be officially moving on to high school. We are very proud of their class and their hard work. We are very excited for the many events that are being prepared from now until culmination to celebrate all that they have accomplished.

Apart from culmination itself, there will be several activities to help make this year extra special. The below activities and merchandise are what the class committee is planning:

8^th Grade T-Shirts
8^th Grade Panorama Photo
Pin & Ribbon Breakfast
Spring Picnic
Busses and tickets for Magic Mountain Grad Night
Culmination

These activities come at a price, so we are asking each culminating 8^th grade student to participate with a donation of $30 or more per student. The amount we raise will determine which activities we will be able to enjoy as a class.

Please send all donations by Monday, December 2nd. This will allow the committee enough time to plan these events including the traditional 8^th grade panoramic picture with the t-shirts.

The SOCES PTSA is the onsite parent group at Sherman Oaks CES. We, the parents, teachers, and students, work together to make our school the best it can be for every student. We work cooperatively with the school and the student body on fund-raising activities. We work hand in hand with the Parent Center to help grow community and coordinate volunteers. We encourage all parents to join us in speaking for every child with one voice. We invite you to join us and be a part of the success of our students.
