We want all students to have access to a school that celebrates who they are as individuals while helping them learn and grow.  

Did you know that there are many students who don't have access to a school program? Students who struggle to thrive in the public school system, but don't fit the mold of the available therapeutic day school alternatives put families in a tough position to either keep their child home, do alternative schooling, or to push their child into a school environment that does not meet their individual child's needs. Our nonprofit organization is hoping to change that. 

Mission: A nonprofit school on the North Shore of Chicago that celebrates all students' strengths while utilizing science and the art of individualized teaching protocols to support students' growth and learning.  We believe every student deserves the opportunity to discover their values and develop the skills that help them grow toward those values.

Philosophy: Clay Path Academy serves students using a student-centered approach that focuses on each student’s strengths.  We teach not only academics, but more importantly, the skills that support students' growth towards their values. Grounded in evidence-based interventions and curricula, we use goals and data to shape each day in support of strong, individualized learning outcomes. We address dysregulated behaviors by supporting each child individually, uncovering what they're trying to communicate and helping them learn new skills. Our multidisciplinary team at Clay Path unites to create a community that celebrates and supports the whole child.
