Climb For Korah

With 19 years in St. George, Liberty Youth Academy is a private, faith-based school that teaches truth and academics within the context of the restored Church of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to develop the next generation of leaders through classical leadership education while inspiring students to live with faith, courage, and a love of service.

Each year, we teach our students the power of kids helping kids through service to children and families in Korah, Ethiopia—a community on the outskirts of Addis Ababa where families live in deep poverty. Children there face challenges like limited access to food, schooling, and medical care, yet they remain full of hope. 

This year, we are joining with Bright Futures of Korah, founded and led by a local parent, to help provide brighter opportunities for their future.

In November, our students will take part in a special project: climbing the Tech Ridge stairs to “honor their hard”—a tribute to the children of Korah who live in extreme poverty.   Just as Korah’s children face daily struggles with courage and resilience, our students will practice resilience in their climb—symbolically facing their own challenges while honoring the strength of children in Korah. Through this effort, they also help provide hope through education—a light that can lift both communities toward a brighter future.

To make this possible, we invite local businesses to partner with us through a $250, $500 or $1000 donation.  Your donation will:

• Provide t-shirts for our students to wear during the climb, printed with your business name.
  
  

• Directly support our fundraising goal to provide education, food, and safe housing for Korah’s children. All proceeds go directly to our sponsored families in Korah.
  
  

• Recognize your business in our weekly newsletter and on our school’s social media posts.
