Across the Commonwealth, both big cities and small towns are ready for a new reason to explore. The Kentucky Coffee Trail™ connects coffee lovers, travelers, and communities through a shared love of local flavor by inviting people to experience all of Kentucky, one cup at a time.

This isn’t just about coffee. It’s about connection and giving people a reason to pull off the highway, walk downtown, and discover the hidden gems that make Kentucky unique.

Why We’re Inviting Founding Friends

We’re launching the first statewide coffee trail, spanning all nine official tourism regions of Kentucky. The Trail will celebrate local flavor, community pride, and the small businesses that keep Kentucky brewing.

Becoming a Friend of the Trail helps us:
• Print and distribute the first 10,000 Trail passports
• Create signage, stamps, and shop materials for every stop
• Support shop participation so every community — large or small — has a place on the map

Every Friend will be recognized on the official Kentucky Coffee Trail™ website as part of the founding team that helped bring this vision to life.

Friends of the Trail Levels

$5 — Buy a Coffee for the Trail
Help us launch the Kentucky Coffee Trail™ — one cup at a time.
This $5 level represents a virtual cup of coffee shared in support of Kentucky’s coffee community.
You’ll receive a digital thank-you and your name listed on the Friends of the Trail website as a Coffee Supporter.

$25 — Coffee Friend
Every cup counts. Digital thank-you, your name on the website Friends page, and a social shout-out.

$50 — Coffee Explorer
All Coffee Friend perks plus a mailed Trail sticker pack and early access to the first passports.

$75 — Coffee Enthusiast
All Explorer perks plus a Friend of the Trail coaster or mug and recognition on the website as a Coffee Enthusiast.

$100 — Trail Supporter
All Enthusiast perks plus an exclusive Friends of the Kentucky Coffee Trail™ T-shirt and recognition on the website as an official Trail Supporter.

$365 — Adopt a Coffee Shop
Adopt a shop for one year! Your enrollment covers a shop’s full membership, helping them join the Trail. You’ll be paired with a café in need of sponsorship and listed as an "Adopt A Shop" sponsor on the website. You'll  receive a supporter pack that includes a Trail sweatshirt, coaster, mug, and sticker — plus a thank-you note from your adopted shop.

$1,000 — Founding Friend
Sponsors multiple shops to join. Includes all prior perks plus a Trail journal and your name displayed on the launch event Founding Friends Wall.

$2,000 — Super Friend — Name a Drink
As a Super Friend, you’ll help power the Trail’s statewide launch and leave your mark by naming an official Trail drink.
Your custom-named beverage (for example, The Smith Family Cinnamon Swirl Latte or The Bluegrass Breeze) will appear for a limited time at a participating shop in your chosen region.
You’ll receive a framed photo of your drink, a full supporter pack (passport, hat, journal, enamel pin, and sticker set), and recognition as a Super Friend on the website.

This level is perfect for families, small businesses, and coffee lovers who want to play a creative role in the Trail’s story — and enjoy bragging rights every time someone orders “their” drink.

A Statewide Movement

When you become a Friend of the Kentucky Coffee Trail™, you’re joining the launch of something built to last : a statewide experience that connects travelers, coffee shops, and communities across Kentucky for years to come.

Corporate Sponsorships

Corporate, regional, and community sponsorship opportunities are also available for brands, CVBs, and tourism partners who want to play a larger role in the Trail’s launch.
