Rapid Food Distribution Program

Through Community Food Bank's Rapid Food Pantry Distribution Program, feeding hungry families directly from our food door, you make a substantial positive impact on our North Texas community. Individuals, families, seniors, veterans, the working poor, the homeless, anyone in need can come to Community Food Bank because of your generous support.

The present economic climate, coupled with concerns surrounding the distribution of SNAP benefits, has led to a marked increase in requests for food assistance. YOU can ensure that your neighbors do not go hungry by supporting Community Food Bank.

Through CFB, you can also support 32 food pantries with our free surplus food. It enables partner pantries to stretch their budget.

Hunger and poverty are not the only problems affecting our neighbors. CFB is a caring operation which supports other programs such as, Transitional Homes, Senior Employment Rehabilitation - S.E.R., Labor Detail, and Community Service Restitution. Other programs we support are Texas Workforce - Career Steps and Unique Hour, Transition2Work, OSHA Certified Forklift Training, Willoughby House Juvenile Transitional Home. Select programs above actually pay volunteers to work here and get training!

We offer community referral services, community news, nutritional information and access to a computer for folks to obtain Food Handler License.
