I love nature, my kids and my family and I want them all to have healthy and happy lives.

My youngest son, Wim, plays ice hockey and has worked hard to become better and better. But he is burdened by damaged lungs resulting from a very severe case of pneumonia that literally killed off part of his lung tissue. As a result, Wim is more sensitive than most kids to air pollution. Fighting for Wim to have an enforceable and enforced right to clean air and safe climate is essential for Wim's day to day life and enjoyment of hockey; as well as his enjoyment of a safe and healthy climate as he lives his life.

So I have many reasons why I believe in the Green Amendment movement and do all I can to support the right of all children to clean air, pure water, a safe climate and healthy environments. And every day I can see in my son Wim and his joy of hockey, how important a healthy environment is to the healthy lives of all children.
